Nikon D700 Review
Nikon D700 Review
Let’s face it. There’s only so far you can go with entry-level camera equipment. Even with an arsenal of professional lenses, there comes a time when your basic digital SLR just isn’t getting the job done anymore. Whether you’re a pro photographer or just an avid shutterbug, it’s time to get behind the Nikon D700.
We recently conducted a Nikon D700 review, and feel good about recommending this camera for anyone looking to take their shots to the next level. For a professional camera, it has very helpful, intuitive features that don’t require you to dig through the manual. It performs well right out of the box, and is sturdy enough to keep up with anything you’d want to throw at it. This is the kind of quality you expect from Nikon, but we’re always happy to get our hands on their fine equipment.
We reviewed the specs before conducting our Nikon D700 review, but still found some pleasant surprises when trying the camera for ourselves. The shots with this camera are ultra-smooth, thanks to the full-frame 12.1 MP image sensor. The fast shutter speed is on par with the benchmarks set by Nikon’s beloved D300, letting you crank out shot after perfect shot. No more settling for slow, noisy or off-focus shots, and no more wasting away with post-processing.

Speaking of post-processing, our Nikon D700 review found that you won’t have to tweak the light in your shots with this camera either. Forget using an overpowering flash to get the lighting right, because the D700 shoots beautifully in a staggering range of lighting conditions. Shots that would be lost in shadow come out sharp and true to color, without you having to lug around a bunch of extra equipment just because you wanted to shoot at dusk. The low light and color payoff features were the most exceptional we’ve seen yet, and stood out as the stars of our Nikon D700 review.
We did a little digging during the Nikon D700 review we performed, and found several sites offering deals on this camera. Amazon offered the best deal by far, cutting over $350 off of the regular price. As a bonus, buying on Amazon will also show you their Nikon D700 review page, filled with testimonials (and over 20 Nikon D700 review images) from hundreds of other happy owners of this camera.
